I have torn the walls out of a room in my home because of mold and moisture issues. I have removed the moldy insulation and fixed the moisture problems. (wearing a mask and other protective gear of course). There are a few of the 2 x 4 boards that support the wall that have a little bit of mold on them but other than that they are not damaged. Can I wash them off with a bleach water solution and keep them in place or do I have to tear them out and replace them altogether?

I've had a leaking roof in the corner of a room. The roof is now repaired. When I open the wall and remove the insulation, how can I kill the mould and clean it properly. Are there products recommended for this purpose? It isn't a huge job but I want to do it safely and permanently.

I have material, shower, curtains.(Window curtains over the bath tub) They have some mold on them and it won't come out even if i try wash them. They are green so i can not use bleach on them. Plz help me! I think i have tried everything to remove the mold.

The mold is black and covers large areas of the cement walls. The corners are almost solid black. We placed an office chair we weren't using in the basement about a month ago when we first moved in; the fabric seat and back of the chair have since grown a greenish, fuzzy-looking mold. I don't want to store anything else in the basement until I can figure out a way to either get rid of the mold or make sure it doesn't grow on everything! I also do not wish to waste an entire basement's worth of storage space. The space does not have good ventilation and this is a house we are renting. Any advice?

I just moved into this house only to find that the window in my front bedroom was sweating so badly that it actually caused my floor and wall to stay wet all the time. I am getting new windows put in Saturday and was wondering if anyone can help me decide what to use to get the mold off of the walls and floors. I used lysol last weekend and the mold has already grew back. It's really bad. Any help will be much apprecited.
